Melody Thio was born in the Netherlands, studied in the US, and resides in Indonesia. She studied advertising to become a visual storyteller and realized she likes storytelling even without the visual aspect of it.

 

She grew up watching endless K-dramas with her mom. Her friends and husband, who refuse to watch with her in fear she’ll predict future plots down to dialogue, can vouch for her expertise.

When not writing, she loves watching anime, reading webtoons, playing video games, trying digital art, or making acoustic covers of K-Pop songs. Well, at least she used to. Now her toddler takes priority.
